UNPRI Holds International Internship Socialization
Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) in partnership with SEA EDUCATION, held a socialization for students participating in the International Internship Program, which was held on the 16th Floor of the UNPRI Campus, Jln. Sampul No. 3 Medan, Thursday (31/7/2025).
In the socialization, which was attended by around 80 people offline and 60 people online via Zoom, the resource person was Nurmansyah (SEA EDUCATION) with his team, and moderator Haposan Lumbantoruan, S.Pd., M.Psi (Head of the CEDC Bureau), explained that international internships are available at several leading companies in hospitals and hotels in Malaysia.
During the socialization, students were asked to prepare their passports, receive training in Malaysian academics, and then be ready to work at several leading companies in Malaysia.
Vice Rector III of UNPRI, Refi Ikhtiari, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D., hopes that UNPRI students who have been selected for registration will be equipped before going to the internship locations.
“We are partnering with SEA EDUCATION. We hope that through this partnership, the International Internship Program will run smoothly. Hopefully, this platform will increase student enthusiasm for participating in international internships,” he said.
Several participants who attended the event expressed their gratitude for the ease of access to international internship information provided by UNPRI's social media platforms.
"Those of us who registered for the international internship program on UNPRI's social media platforms were immediately added to the international internship group, making it easier for us to obtain other important information," said one participant.
They hope that UNPRI, along with its partners, including SEA EDUCATION, will be able to offer internship programs that align with the passions of students or future faculty graduates.
Rahel, a student at the UNPRI Faculty of Economics who has participated in the international internship program, said the process was very easy. "This program is effortless and there's no need to worry, because we're equipped with the necessary training first, and then everyone welcomes us at our internship site. So, I hope many UNPRI students will pursue international internships," he said.
